Geno is the breeding organization for Norwegian Red (NRF), the main dairy breed in Norway.
Geno's breeding program is based on science and continuous research and development in the areas dairy cattle breeding and genetics, fertility and artificial insemination.
Geno Global has subsidiaries in Italy (Geno Italy) and the UK (Geno-UK). The company cooperates with distributors and sales companies in various other countries such as USA, Holland, Ireland, Germany, Poland and Israel.
In 2011 Geno Global exported semen from Norwegian Red bulls to more than 20 countries throughout the world.
